How Our Robot Utilizes Key Concepts like Power and Energy:
We successfully converted forward-facing rotational energy into side-facing rotational energy using four GoBilda motors to drive eight bevel gears. This has made it possible for us to be quite versatile in how we build our attachments and has made it possible to employ various methods. We can then modify and make it easier to utilise the electrical and chemical energy that is being released from the battery thanks to these technologies. Our robot can move quicker, stronger, and in general just better thanks to the transfer of different energy kinds and the total energy used.
When it comes to carrying out the labor itself, power is crucial. It's common knowledge that power is defined as the product of effort and time, or F*cosx *v (Force*cosine x * velocity). This implies that we had to evaluate the lift's power output when we were designing our attachment since it was too low to be able to counteract gravity and produce positive displacement. Due to these useful ideas, we decided to use torque motors rather of the more traditional rotational motors to provide a force to our lift that was far more than the pull of gravity. The lift was able to travel up and down quickly and steadily thanks to this precaution.
