Our PBL Project

Introduction

Our PBL project is a motivational 2D animation about humility and the golden rule. The story follows a court jester who causes rebellion against his authorities. One day when he fails to entertain the royal family, he is put in jail to await execution. As he nears his death, the citizens of the town are inspired to take action against the injustices put on them by their selfish caretakers, freeing the Jester in the process.

What is our project?

For our project, we have decided to make a motivational 2D animation. We'll attempt to teach people the power of being humble by telling a story about a jester and their king.

Essential Understanding

To create a motivational 2D animation with humbleness, we used a program called Adobe Animate. The scientific principle behind our project is the use of coding created in Adobe Animate. It to allow us to use tools, color, layers, apply different types of animation, key frames, etc.

Real-Life Connections

The world keeps going by learning how it can get better; sometimes, these lessons can come from simple animations made by some random high schoolers. There are other random highschoolers out there in this world that also think thoughts could help shape it for the better, but lots of times they can't find the opportunity to share them, so if their thoughts can come out to the world through activities they're interested in, such as animation, it would be a lot easier for them to get their thoughts out there.

As this project was made online, it was important to keep our data safe. We did this by securing our accounts with verification systems and strong passwords.
