3rd & 4th class pupils are learning the basics of Scratch using the school laptops. We are learning about programming, animation and most importantly, we are learning the value of teamwork while creating our group projects!

MURHUR DOES ROBOT WARS!
Our 1st and 2nd classes were divided into groups of 4 where each group built their own robot. The final goal was to build the strongest robot and to go into competition with each other! The excitement was surreal with the pupils using so many skills - critical thinking, teamwork, turn-taking, coding, building - while having lots of fun at the same time!

MOYVANE VILLAGE
The pupils of 2nd, 3rd & 4th classes have been working very hard learning all about our lovely village! They have included houses, shops, the playground and lots of other amenities available to us here in Moyvane. Ms. O'Flaherty entrusted each pupil with an area of responsibility to ensure all of Moyvane was included. Each section was sized to fit in with our Bluebots which we were then able to use to compliment our learning. We have learnt all about the village in Geography and History, our artistic skills were put to good use with the creation of the project, we learned all about direction and space in Maths.
