Eesmärk:
Projekti eesmärgiks on STEM-valdkonna erialade populariseerimine noorte hulgas, nende edasiste õpi- ja karjäärivalikute mõjutamiseks. Projekti käigus korraldatakse igas partnerriigis oma STEM-laager ja 2023. a. suvel ühine õpilaager Itaalias, mille käigus rakendatakse erinevaid õpimeetodeid aineülestes õpitubades, pöörates tähelepanu individuaalsete õpiteede kujundamisele ja levinud sooliste stereotüüpide ületamisele.
STEM for future aims at developing among young people an increased knowledge and culture about new professional opportunities enabled by technology, through a set of learning opportunities targeted at enhancing their STEM skills, by non-traditional learning methods. Project objectives are: a) to develop and test a method for empowering STEM skills of young people next to complete upper secondary school, and for guiding them towards their subsequent study or career choices; b) to develop an assessment methodology allowing the recognition of knowledge and skills acquired through the above-mentioned activities and the measurement of impact on participants; c) to promote the exchange of practices and results, by devising guidelines for transferring and replicating proposed activities in other EU countries. The project will involve directly some 100 students, male and female, attending the last years of upper secondary schools, at the dawn of a choice deeply affecting their future. It will also involve teachers, families, and a number of public and private actors in partner territories.
