What does STEM-Nam do?

• STEM-Nam's mission is to build a foundation in STEM knowledge for young students in Vietnam. In order to achieve this goal, our nonprofit creates original STEM lessons that include slideshows, videos, and hands-on project tutorials with fully funded supplies.

How do your lessons/program work?

• Our lessons feature 3 components: a slideshow explaining what part of STEM will be learnt, an educational video with visual explanations of what the lesson is teaching, and supply kits for the project-challenges. Each project-challenge is based off the STEM lesson taught in the slideshows and videos and is for the students to apply their knowledge into a hands-on project for further understanding of what they learned.  Each project is graded based on three factors; sustainability, creativity, and effectiveness. At the end of the program, the class with the highest grade average will receive a small reward for STEM-Nam to congratulate their efforts and enthusiasm for STEM learning!
