Stein

I am a postdoc for at the MPIM Bonn, working in the group of Catharina Stroppel. Previously I was a PhD student at Radboud university in Nijmegen supervised by Erik Koelink and Maarten van Pruijssen.

I am working on the representation theory of quantum symmetric pairs, their related objects such as spherical functions, canonical bases and am interested intheir relations to the geometry of algebraic groups.

In the past I studied in Utrecht and graduated under supervision of Marcel de Jeu.

In the spring of 2026 I have organized, together with Jort de Groot, an informal seminar on infinite dimensional quantum symmetric pairs and quantum gravity.
