I am a senior researcher at the Institut für Mittelstandsforschung (IfM) Bonn. I received my PhD (Dr. rer. pol.) at the Leibniz Universität Hannover and earned my diploma (Diplom Volkswirt) at the University of Regensburg.

Don't dismiss the future - shape it.

My research covers various aspects of applied economics at the intersection of entrepreneurship, labor economics, and economics of the household. My articles have been cited more than 500 times (Google Scholar), and my work has been presented, among others, at the ASSA|AEA Annual Meeting and the EEA|ESEM conference (full list).
