Welcome to my Page! 😀Â
I am a fifth-year Ph.D Candidate in Economics at NOVA SBE. My advisor is Pedro Brinca.
During the PhD, I have been a Visiting Student Research Collaborator in the Economics Department of Princeton University, hosted by Gianluca Violante.Â
I was also a Research PhD Trainee in the Directorate General of Economics of the European Central Bank and I participated in the IMF Fund Internship Program at the IMF in the Fiscal Affairs Department.
Research Interests: Household Heterogeneity, Inequality, Wealth Distribution, Fiscal Policy, Monetary Policy, Production Networks, Labor Markets
I study the role of micro-heterogeneity in shaping households' and firms' decisions and their relationship with fiscal and monetary policy. I have a particular interest in studying inequalities through the lens of heterogeneous agent models and I am passionate about understanding how micro-level dynamics can inform the design of more effective macroeconomic policies.
I am a Teaching Assistant at NOVA SBE, Lisbon, where I teach Bachelor’s and Master’s courses.
