In order to escape without being hit by the traps, you have to find the five locks that block the door below.

Unfortunatelly those locks are hidden in the several rooms of Leonardo's Lab. So you must looking for it, first of all in the Morgue, where Leonardo studies the human body; than in the Room of the levers, full of technological inventions; and after, in the Volary, where Leonardo works on his visions.
