Steady collects no data about you. None. Not your name, not your email, not your check-ins, not your urge logs, not your notes, not analytics, not crash reports.
Everything stays on your device. All your check-ins, progress, "your why", and settings are stored only on your iPhone, in Steady's local database. Nothing you enter ever leaves your device.
No accounts. Steady has no login and no user accounts. There is nowhere for your information to go.
Permissions. Steady only asks for notifications for optional gentle milestone reminders, if you choose to turn them on.
iCloud Backup. If you have iCloud Backup turned on in your iPhone settings, Apple may include Steady's local data in your encrypted device backup. Steady has no access to it, and you can manage this anytime in your iOS settings.
Children and teens. Steady is designed to be safe for younger users as well as adults. It collects nothing from anyone, regardless of age.
Not medical advice. Steady offers self-help tools and education for pornography and masturbation habits. It is not a medical device or a substitute for professional care.
