Your workout records stay on your phone unless you choose Google Drive backup. Steady has no app account, advertising SDK or developer-operated workout server. Optional backups go directly to your own Google Drive.

Steady stores information in its private app storage to provide routines, workout logging, recovery and progress displays:
Plans and exercises: names, body parts, exercise order, rest times, per-set weight and repetition targets, set types and saved machine setup details.
Workout records: logged weights, repetitions, set types, completion dates and session durations. Unfinished workout information is kept locally so you can resume.
Preferences: themes, weight units, sound and vibration choices, timer and screen-dimming preferences, and guide completion flags.
Training preferences: onboarding answers, including training goal, experience, equipment, weekly training days, session length and priority muscle groups. Your male/female illustration choice controls which exercise images are displayed.
Pro status: a local record of the entitlement reported by Google Play, so purchased features can remain available offline.
These records support the app's features. They are not uploaded to a VibeVital server. Android's automatic system backup is disabled for Steady.
Drive backup and restore are Steady Pro features. You choose a Google account and authorize Steady to use https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.appdata. This permits access to Steady's hidden application-data folder; it does not grant access to your other Drive documents, photos or folders.
Steady writes workout_backup.json containing saved plans, workout history and supported preferences, including training answers, illustration choice, theme, units and saved machine setups. Active workout state is not restored from a Drive backup. Restoring requires confirmation and replaces local plans, history and settings.
You can start a backup yourself, or enable daily or weekly automatic backup in Settings. Scheduled backups run in the background when Android's network and battery conditions allow, and unchanged data is skipped. You can choose the Wi-Fi-only preference or turn scheduled backup off. Exact timing depends on Android and is not guaranteed.
The selected Google account name, backup schedule and connection status are saved locally to support this feature. The account name and schedule are not included in the workout backup. Google authorization access tokens are held in app memory, not saved in Steady's database or exposed to its web interface.
Backup requests use HTTPS directly between your phone and Google. VibeVital does not receive a copy of your Drive backup. Google's handling of your account and Drive storage is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
Limited use: Steady's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used to provide backup and restore, not for advertising, profiling, sale or training AI models.
Steady Pro is a one-time purchase processed by Google Play Billing. The app receives purchase and entitlement information needed to unlock Pro, acknowledge purchases and restore access. Steady does not collect your card number, Google password or payment-method details. Google processes payments under its own terms and privacy policy.
Steady contains no advertising, advertising-ID integration, analytics SDK or crash-reporting SDK. It does not access contacts, location, camera or microphone, or connect to Google Fit or Health Connect. There is no Steady social feed or user account. We do not sell your workout information or use it to target ads.
If you email support, we receive the email address and information you choose to send. That correspondence is handled through our email provider and used to respond to your request. Avoid sending passwords, payment details or unnecessary personal information.
Internet: Google Drive backup, authorization and Google Play purchase services.
Google Play Billing: purchase and restore Steady Pro.
Notifications and foreground service: active workout duration and rest countdown, including while Steady is in the background.
Vibration: rest alerts and light interaction feedback, according to app and device settings.
Wake lock: support workout timing when the screen is off.
Local workout data is retained until you delete it or clear the app's storage. Uninstalling Steady removes its local data. A Drive backup can remain after uninstalling or disconnecting; disconnecting does not itself delete the saved backup.
Delete plans or workouts: delete a plan in the Plan tab, or a saved workout in Progress.
Delete all local data: Android Settings → Apps → Steady → Storage → Clear data or Clear storage. This permanently removes local plans, history and preferences.
Stop automatic backups: turn the schedule off in Steady Settings → Google Drive backup.
Disconnect Drive: use Disconnect Google Drive in Steady Settings. This stops scheduling and attempts to revoke access. You can also remove Steady access in your Google account connections.
Delete the Drive backup: open Google Drive on the web → Settings → Manage apps → Steady → Options → Delete hidden app data, where available. Stop scheduled backups first so a new copy is not created.
There is no Steady account to delete. VibeVital does not hold your workout database or Drive backup and cannot delete those copies for you. For support correspondence or other privacy questions, contact the address above.
Steady uses Android app-private storage and HTTPS for Drive requests. Device security and your Google account security also affect protection of your information. No storage or transmission method is guaranteed completely secure.
Steady is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children's information through support correspondence. Contact us if you believe a child has sent us personal information.
This website is hosted by Google Sites and provides information about Steady and its privacy practices. We have not added advertising, analytics scripts, account registration or a contact form. Google may process technical request information, such as IP address and browser details, to deliver and protect the website. Google's hosting and external Google services are subject to the Google Privacy Policy. Email services are governed by their respective providers.
We will update the date on this page when the policy changes. Relevant material changes will be communicated through app updates or release notes.
