A Medical Courier Driver must hold a valid, unrestricted driver’s license suitable for the vehicle being used for deliveries. The driver must also have a clean driving record, free of major violations such as DUIs or reckless driving, for the past 3 to 5 years. In addition, the driver must provide proof of current automobile insurance, including coverage for business-related use.
The driver's vehicle used, prefers relatively recent models (typically within the last 5-10 years) due to reliability, safety features, and compliance with potential client regulations regarding vehicle age and condition.The driver must have a well-maintained vehicle that is capable of safely transporting medical materials. If specific deliveries require temperature-sensitive items, such as vaccines or medical specimens, the drive will be equipped with Thermal bags that will accommodate temperature-sensitive items. Also, it is a requirement that latex gloves and masks are required to be worn when picking up specimens or any labs.
