This webinar introduces the project titled "Optimal Exploitation Strategies for Sustainable Utilization of Fossil Groundwater Reserves in Egypt ", granted by STDF, Applied Science Program, Project ID 46278 (Jun 2022 – Jun 2024). This project provides sustainable water resources management. 

Speakers:

Prof. Brent Haddad, MBA, Ph.D: Professor of Environmental Studies at the University of California, Santa Cruz. 

Prof. Abdelazim Negm: Professor of Hydraulics and (Water Resources) at Zagazig University. He is a member of IAHR, ICWEES, and the head of the Egyptian permanent scientific committee for Water Resources (during cycle 13).

Dr. Asaad Mater Armanuos: Associate Professor at Tanta University, Irrigation and Hydraulics Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Tanta University. His research interests are related to groundwater contamination control, water resources management, saltwater intrusion control, and groundwater hydrology. He is the Principal Investigator in groundwater management project funded by STDF - Science and Technology Development Fund (Egypt).
