Farasha is a native of West Orange, NJ. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising from LIM College and a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Bethune-Cookman University. She currently works for a leading beauty company as a Manager of Sales Operations. “Ya-Ya Travels the World” is Farasha’s first published children’s book. The idea to create the book came from Farasha’s combined love for reading and traveling. In her downtime, Farasha enjoys spending quality time with her partner Nick, one-year old daughter Iyla, and their two pups Shaggy and Romeo.

Arielle Dance, PhD, lives in New Jersey with her wife and chihuahua-terrier. Dr. Dance is a writer on topics of disabilities, grief, and self-advocacy. She is published across multiple online platforms and has an award-winning children’s book, Dearest One, that focuses on words of wisdom from a grandmother. Her manuscript, Miss Mimi's Welcomes All, won second place in the 2023 Black Voices in Children's Literature Writing Contest.

Gloria Bozor is a New Jersey-based case manager, sociologist, child advocate, women activist, mother, and founder of Bozor Brilliance Community Foundation (BBCF) 501c3 organization. Drawing on over a decade of training, working, and experience, she writes educational children’s books and creates learning materials that bring awareness, educate, and help to prevent childhood trauma. Her first book in the series FaFa and GloGlo titled ABC’s of Child Sexual Abuse is an educational book for families and caregivers of children. Dr Gloria believes that that every child should be able to live a full and healthy childhood and life because improving mental health & preventing ACEs is something that can be done!
