Captains Duties

• The Captain is the first person on your team pairings sheet.   

• If possible,  the Captain should contact each team member to be sure they know when and where they are playing, how they will pay (cash or check is preferred) and double check on carts, etc. if necessary either by calling, sending an email, or texting their team.

• Captain should pay the golf course green fees for her group (especially for shotguns) and collect the tags for her group.  Captain may wait for her team to arrive and collect the monies, rather than using her own money and get reimbursed.

• Captain will ensure the tags are placed on the carts appropriately.

• Captain will collect  $2.00 prize money from each player.

• Captain will ensure the scores are entered into Golf Genius correctly.   Cards should be signed and attested.  Place the paper scorecard and prize money in the St Bernard's box at the end of play.

• In the case of inclement weather, you as a team will make the decision whether to play or not. If you decide not to play the Captain will need to call the golf course and cancel your team's play.
