Stay Support Squad: Stays for the Strays
Animals are considered to be mans natural companions. They are closely related to our lives and they become our stress reliever. Every time we come home after a long day at work or school, the sounds of barking and purring soothe our tired minds, and we would promptly and gently stroke our pet’s stomach and caress their whiskers. As companions of nature, we should treat them with the same respect and dignity like how we treat other people.
Every day, countless stray cats and dogs roam our streets, facing hunger, danger, and hardships. It’s time for us to take a stand and provide them a shelter- a place where they can find comfort, care, love, and a chance for a brighter future. We, Stay Support Squad, decided to come up with a project that committed in addressing stray cats and dogs that don’t have a proper home. Our goal is to improve the lives of these innocent creatures, providing a home that offers them a stability, care and love they deserve.
The shelter will provide immediate relief to these animals, it will ensure their basic needs are met- food, clean water, and medical attention. Moreover, these animals, once provided with care and nurturing, can be transformed into loving companions, ready to bring joy and happiness into the lives of their future adopters.
Creating a shelter also contributes to public safety. Stray animals can sometimes pose risks to themselves and the community, especially when left unattended or in distress, by offering a safe place and environment for them, we reduce the likelihood of accidents.
This advocacy can become a reality with your help. One can provide contributions through volunteering their time, giving financial assistance, or even adopting a furry friend from our shelter. Together, we can make a significant impact and create lasting change in the lives of these animals.
