Stay Booked values user privacy and gives every user full control over their data. Most booking data is stored locally on the user’s device. However, in compliance with Google Play policies, we provide a clear process for users to request deletion of their account (if applicable) and any associated data.
Local data (on device)
Booking information (guest details, check-in/out, notes)
Property details (name, capacity, address)
Calendar records
Remote data (only if optional sync/backup features are enabled in future versions)
Account credentials (email, username)
Backup copies of booking data
Open the Stay Booked App.
Navigate to Settings > Data Management.
Select Delete All Data.
This action will permanently erase all booking, property, and calendar information stored locally on the device.
Once deleted, data cannot be recovered.

Request to Delete Account and Data
The request must include:
Registered email address (if an account exists).
Confirmation of identity (to prevent unauthorized deletion).
Within 30 days, we will:
Permanently delete your account from our system.
Remove all backups stored on our servers.
Send you a confirmation email once deletion is complete.
No Recovery: Once data is deleted, it cannot be restored.
Guest Data Responsibility: If you store third-party (guest) information in the App, you are responsible for ensuring compliance with privacy laws in your jurisdiction.
Offline Users: If you do not use cloud features, deleting the app from your device will also delete all associated data.
Stay Booked requests access to your location (approximate) to provide regional analytics and send location-relevant updates. This is optional — you can deny it and still use core booking features.
We collect approximate device location (with your permission) to analyse regional usage, personalise experience, and send region-based notifications. Location data is stored in Firebase and transmitted over TLS. You may disable location permission at any time in your device settings or request full deletion of location data via our Data Deletion page
Deletion instructions
To remove location data tied to your account, go to Settings → Data Management → Delete All Data, or contact support at oidikey@gmail.com . We will delete your account and all associated data (including location) within 30 days of verification.
Analytics retention/anonymisation note
Location data is aggregated and anonymised for analytics where possible. We set Firebase Analytics retention to 30 days do not link raw location history to marketing audiences without consent.
