Initial Evaluation (Phase I) The STAUTS ENGINEERING PHASE I - Structural Inspection is a visual evaluation and opinion of the structural condition and integrity of an existing building, and identifies areas that require improvement or repair.
During our inspection, we will evaluate the Structural Condition & Integrity for:

Roof Structure, Attic, Fireplace & Chimney
Ceiling & Floors
Wall Structures, Doors & Windows
Grading & Drainage
Slope set back

Cracks or Deterioration of the Foundation
Leaks or Structural Load Deficiencies in the Roof & Attic
Floor slopes using a manometer
Leaning walls using a level
Cracks in the walls
Evidence of Settlement
Poor Drainage
Phase I Options:
Professional Opinions - On-site evaluation followed by an immediate professional opinion regarding the overall structural integrity.
Evaluation With Detailed Report - On-site evaluation with a detailed structural report prepared within 1 to 2 days. Our report is professional, accurate and easy to understand, with an overall opinion and rating of the property.
Structural Analysis for Repairs (Phase II) The STAUTS ENGINEERING PHASE II - Structural Analysis for Repair is recommended as a follow-up to an inspection that uncovered areas that require improvements or repairs. This detailed examination uses scientific calculations and measurements that will accurately identify the level of repairs needed.
Repair Plans (Phase III) The STAUTS ENGINEERING PHASE III - Repair Plan is created upon completion of phase II, when authorized by the client. These plans outline the methods and materials to be used in the repairs. These plans can be submitted to the building department for a building permit. Contractors can submit bids on the project construction from these plans.
