1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Status Wala — Status Saver ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

These Terms apply to all users of the App including free users and PRO subscribers. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

Status Wala is a mobile application that allows users to view, save, download, and share media files (photos, videos, and GIFs) from WhatsApp status updates stored on the user's own device. The App also provides additional features including Auto-Save, Status Archive, Deleted Message Recovery, Direct Chat, and an optional PRO subscription.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this App. By using the App you confirm that you are 13 years of age or older. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you confirm that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the App.

4. License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on your personal Android device strictly in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or its content.

5. PRO Subscription Terms

5.1 Plans Status Wala PRO is available in three subscription plans — Weekly (₹29/week), Monthly (₹79/month), and Yearly (₹599/year). Prices may vary by region.

5.2 Billing All payments are processed by Google Play Store. By purchasing a PRO subscription you agree to Google Play's billing terms. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

5.3 Cancellation You can cancel your subscription at any time through Google Play Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for unused subscription periods.

5.4 Free Trial If a free trial is offered, it will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless cancelled before the trial ends.

5.5 Price Changes We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time. We will notify you in advance of any price changes. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You agree that you will NOT use the App to:

Save or distribute content that you do not have permission to save or share.

Violate the privacy, intellectual property rights, or any other rights of any person.

Save or share content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.

Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App in any way.

Use the App to collect data about other users without their knowledge or consent.

Use the App in any way that violates WhatsApp's Terms of Service.

Distribute malware, viruses, or any other harmful code through the App.

7. Intellectual Property

All content within the App including but not limited to design, code, graphics, logos, icons, and text is the exclusive property of Ravi Paraliya and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or exploit any portion of the App without our express written permission.

The name "WhatsApp" is the property of WhatsApp LLC. We are not affiliated with WhatsApp LLC or Meta Platforms Inc. in any way.

8. User Content and Copyright

Status Wala helps you save media that other WhatsApp users have posted as their status updates. You acknowledge and agree that:

You are solely responsible for how you use downloaded content.

You will respect the intellectual property and privacy rights of the original content creators.

You will not save, share, or distribute someone else's status content without their explicit permission.

We are not responsible for any copyright infringement or privacy violations caused by your use of the App.

9. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please read our Privacy Policy carefully at [https://yourwebsite.com/privacy-policy].

10. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services including Google AdMob, Firebase, AppLovin, and Google Play Billing. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party services.

11. Advertisements

The free version of the App displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob and AppLovin. By using the free version you consent to the display of these advertisements. PRO subscribers do not see advertisements. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements displayed in the App.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant that the App will always be compatible with your device or operating system.

We do not guarantee that WhatsApp status files will always be accessible as WhatsApp may change its file storage behavior at any time without notice.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App. This includes but is not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or any other damages even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim, or ₹100, whichever is greater.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Ravi Paraliya and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses including reasonable legal fees arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the App or your violation of these Terms.

15. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time without notice if we believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination all licenses granted to you under these Terms will immediately end. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Surendranagar, India.

17. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes we will update the 28 FEB 2026" date at the top of this page. For significant changes we will notify you through a prominent notice in the App. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
