OVERVIEW

StatusFlow AI app is a status saver tool that helps you browse, save, favorite, and share media statuses that are already available on your Android device (for example from WhatsApp status folders).

This policy explains what the App accesses and what it does not do with your data.

1. SUMMARY

• Your status images and videos stay on your device.

• We do not operate a user account system.

• We do not upload your statuses to our servers.

• We do not sell personal data.

2. INFORMATION WE ACCESS ON YOUR DEVICE

With your permission, the App may access:

• Media / storage files — to detect and display status images and videos from WhatsApp (and similar) status folders, and to save copies you choose to download.

• All files access (Android 11+) — required on many devices to read WhatsApp’s hidden .Statuses folder.

• Network access — used for optional features such as loading curated category images, opening WhatsApp chat links, or sending feedback email via your mail app.

Favorites, collections, download history, and settings are stored locally on your device (using on-device storage such as MMKV). This data does not leave your phone through our App.

3. INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT

• We do not collect your WhatsApp messages or contacts.

• We do not upload your saved statuses to Ratn Developers servers.

• We do not create advertising profiles from your media.

• We do not require login, phone number, or email to use core features.

4. PERMISSIONS

• Photos / Videos / Storage — read and save status media.

• Manage all files — read WhatsApp status folders on Android 11+.

• Internet / Network state — optional online content and sharing flows.

You can revoke permissions anytime in Android Settings. Some features will stop working without them.

5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The App may interact with third parties you already use:

• WhatsApp / WhatsApp Business — deep links for Direct Chat and sharing; governed by Meta’s policies.

• Image providers (e.g. Unsplash) — for curated “Popular Categories” gallery images loaded over the internet.

• Email apps — when you send feedback, content is composed on your device and sent through your chosen email provider.

We do not control those third parties’ privacy practices.

6. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided data through the App, contact us and we will help address it.

7. DATA RETENTION & DELETION

Local app data (favorites, history, settings) remains on your device until you clear app data or uninstall the App. Saved media files in your gallery remain until you delete them yourself.

8. SECURITY

Because core data stays on-device, risk of remote data breach of your statuses through our servers is minimized. Protect your device with a lock screen and keep Android updated.

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy when features or legal requirements change. The “Effective date” above will be revised. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
