Privacy Policy – Status Saver: Video Downloader
Developer: Status Saver Tools Studio
We respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Status Saver: Video Downloader (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use our App.
By installing or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
Status Saver Tools Studio does not directly collect or store personal data on its own servers.
The App processes status media only on your device.
Some information may be collected by third-party services such as Google AdMob and Firebase for advertising, analytics, and app performance.
We comply with Google Play Developer Policies, and we aim to respect GDPR (EU), CCPA/CPRA (California), and other applicable privacy laws.
We do not:
Upload your status photos, videos, or audio to our own servers.
Collect your contacts, messages, or call logs.
Track your personal identity such as your name, email, phone number, or exact address.
Create our own user profiles based on your usage.
All status media managed by the App stays on your device only, unless you choose to share it through other apps.
To function properly, the App needs access to:
3.1. Media Files (Statuses)
The App may access:
Status videos
Status photos
Audio contained in status media (where supported)
Purposes:
Display available statuses from your device.
Save statuses to your gallery.
Allow offline viewing, sharing, or reposting.
We do not upload these files to any server. They remain on your device.
3.2. Permissions
Depending on your Android version, the App may request:
(Legacy) READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE for older Android versions
INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE – for ads and connectivity
POST_NOTIFICATIONS – to show notifications for new statuses or app events
AD_ID permission – for advertising purposes through Google Ads SDK
Permissions are used only for the functions described and not to read unrelated personal data.
Although we do not directly collect personal data ourselves, the App uses third-party services that may collect and process data according to their own policies.
These include, but are not limited to:
4.1. Google AdMob (Advertising)
We use Google AdMob to show ads. AdMob may collect:
Device information (model, OS version)
Advertising ID (for ads personalization, if allowed)
IP address and approximate location
App usage data (e.g., which screens are visited)
Interaction with ads
Google may use this data to:
Display personalized or non-personalized ads
Limit ad frequency
Fight fraud and abuse
Measure ad performance

You can opt out of ads personalization in your device settings:
Android Settings → Google → Ads (or “Privacy”) → Opt out of Ads Personalization (wording may vary).
4.2. Firebase (Analytics / Backend)
The App may include Firebase libraries (Analytics, Firestore, Storage). Even if we do not use all Firebase features actively, Google may collect:
Approximate usage and crash data
App instance identifiers
Device information for stability and performance
For more information:
Firebase Privacy & Security: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
We do not set cookies ourselves, but third-party SDKs like AdMob or Firebase may use identifiers and similar technologies for:
Measuring app usage and ad performance
Providing analytics
Serving relevant ads (where allowed)
For users in the EU/EEA and similar regions, data processing by third parties may rely on:
Consent – e.g., for personalized ads (when you agree in the consent dialog).
Legitimate interests – e.g., basic app functionality, fraud prevention, non-personalized ads, or aggregate analytics.
You can withdraw or change your consent (where supported) through:
The consent dialog (if shown).
Device privacy / ad settings.
In regions where required (EU/EEA/UK), the App may use Google’s consent tools (User Messaging Platform – UMP) or similar flows to:
Ask your permission for personalized advertising.
Offer choices between personalized and non-personalized ads.
Store your choices as requested by Google.
If you decline personalized ads, you may still see non-personalized ads.
Status media remains on your device until you delete it.
Third-party services like AdMob and Firebase may retain logs and analytics data according to their own policies.
We do not maintain our own server database about individual users.
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
If you believe a child under 13 is using the App and providing personal data through a third-party service, please contact us so we can assist you with any necessary steps.
