a. Caption Submissions

Users may optionally submit their own captions via a Google Form. If a user chooses to submit, we may collect:

This data is stored in our database and is displayed publicly in the app only if the user opts to share it. The Gmail ID is never made public and is stored securely for:

b. Automatically Collected Data

We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymized data about app usage, such as:

• Device type and OS
  
  

• Usage statistics (screen views, session duration, etc.)
  
  

• Crash reports
  
  

This data is used to improve app performance and user experience. It does not include personal identifiers.

c. Advertisements

We use Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect device information (such as advertising ID.) in accordance with its own privacy policy for ad personalization. We have blocked ads that promote nudity or sexually explicit content.

5. Children’s Privacy

Status & Caption is not intended for children under the age of 10. We actively block explicit content, including adult advertisements, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

6. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information. Gmail IDs are stored securely and are only used for internal purposes.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted within the app or at the official app listing. Continued use of the app after changes signifies acceptance of the revised policy.
