Introduction Static Loss ("we," "our," or "the Game") is a multiplayer virtual reality horror experience developed by Flaming Sunday. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and protected when you play Static Loss on Meta Quest devices. By using the Game, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect 2.1 Automatically Collected Information To provide online multiplayer and voice communication features, the Game and platform services may collect: Platform user identifiers provided by Meta Voice chat audio transmitted during gameplay Network information (such as IP addresses and latency data) Device and session information required for online functionality Location information such as country or region inferred from network data We do not collect real names, email addresses, or other directly identifiable personal information.
2.2 Meta Account and Profile Information Static Loss collects certain information from your Meta/Oculus account to provide a personalized experience, including: Meta/Oculus username and display name Meta/Oculus account ID (used to identify your account in multiplayer) Ownership status of in-app purchases (DLC/add-ons) This information is used solely to: Display your username in-game Manage multiplayer features and player inventory Enable and verify in-app purchases We do not collect or store any sensitive login credentials.
2.3 Third-Party Services Static Loss uses third-party services to provide online functionality, including: Meta Platform Services Photon networking and voice services Microsoft PlayFab Unity networking and platform services Discord (for community invite links) LIV Camera Kit (for in-game recording, screenshots, and streaming) These third parties may process data according to their own privacy policies. PlayFab may collect anonymous player identifiers, gameplay statistics, device and session data, and network diagnostics to enable online features and player progression. The LIV Camera Kit SDK may collect anonymous telemetry and usage data to improve performance and stability. Any recordings, screenshots, or streams created by players using LIV Camera Kit are stored and shared solely by the player and are not collected or stored by Flaming Sunday. The Game may open external links, including Discord community invites, in your device's browser. Any data collected after leaving the Game is governed by Discord's own privacy policy.

In-App Purchases / Transactions When you make in-app purchases in Static Loss, Meta may collect and process transaction information, including: Items purchased Purchase price Ownership status This data is used solely to deliver purchased content, verify ownership, and prevent fraud.
