DHS's Division of Rehabilitation Services is the state's lead agency serving individuals with disabilities. DRS works in partnership with people with disabilities and their families to assist them in making informed choices to achieve full community participation through employment, education, and independent living opportunities.

The Illinois workNet project exists to expand economic opportunity for the residents of Illinois. Through this project, the Illinois workNet® Portal and Program utilizes partnerships and technology to expand seamless and real-time access to workforce development resources aimed at individuals, employers, and workforce/education partners.
Illinois workNet is a great source of training and information, job searches, and can potentially provide funding for training programs for those that qualify.
