STAT Exchange is a graduate seminar series in the Mathematical sciences at University of Texas at Dallas.
It aimed at fostering a stronger sense of community, academic exchange, and professional development among graduate students in Statistics and Data Science. STAT Exchange will serve as a low-pressure, student-oriented forum where graduate students or interested faculty can share their research, discuss technical skills, present literature reviews, and exchange professional insights.
By encouraging both academic and practical topics, the seminar will help build a more cohesive and collaborative departmental culture. This initiative will encourage informal communication and interaction among students in the Statistics and Data Science division.
Participants will share not only academic content but also practical guidance, such as preparing for qualifying exams, applying for internships, and navigating career opportunities.
If you want to present next semester, please contact Hyunwoong (Woody) Chang.
