The motivation for creating StashCash stems from frustration with the current budgeting options that are either too time consuming or don’t involve the user enough to learn good habits. With StashCash, we set out to create a budgeting app that allows beginners to learn and build new healthy budgeting habits and become budgeting wizards.

From using personal spreadsheets to popular mobile budgeting apps like Mint there are a plethora of ways you can budget. Stash cash is geared towards beginners who want to be a part of the budgeting process but don’t know where to start.

We will be building a mobile application to help young adults (18-24) budget. We envision this mobile app to be different from existing budgeting apps in that it will offer features that make budgeting simple, effective, and interactive.
