Starrz Safety Initiative, a non-governmental organization deeply rooted in Bayelsa, Nigeria, We are a civil society group committed to tackling crucial social matters, Focusing on combating gender-based violence, child abuse and gender inequality. The SSI initiative operates at the grassroots level. Our mission is to create awareness and foster community-driven solutions. The SSI initiative highlights the significance of collaboration, partnering with likeminded individuals and organizations. Driven by dedicated volunteers, Starz Safety Initiative strives to create a safer and more gender-equitable communities in Bayelsa state, Nigeria.

Raise Awareness: To educate communities about domestic violence, gender inequality, and their consequences through campaigns, workshops, and media outreach.
Provide Support: To offer counseling, resources, and referrals to survivors of domestic violence, ensuring access to necessary legal, medical, and psychological assistance.
Empower Individuals: To create opportunities for women and marginalized groups through skills training, economic empowerment programs, and educational initiatives.
Promote Gender Equality: To advocate for policies, practices, and societal changes that advance gender equity and respect for human rights.
Engage Communities: To foster partnerships with local leaders, schools, and civil society organizations to build collective action against domestic violence and gender-based discrimination.
Strengthen Prevention Efforts: To implement preventive measures, such as early intervention programs, targeting the root causes of domestic violence and promoting respectful relationships.
Monitor and Evaluate Impact: To continuously assess the effectiveness of initiatives, ensuring they meet community needs and achieve meaningful change.
