About the Series

Star Trek: Wayfinder is an independently produced fan audio drama that follows the adventures of the USS Wayfinder, an experimental Starfleet exploration vessel assigned to investigate the unknown frontiers beyond Federation space. Set during the late 24th century, the series embraces the spirit of classic Star Trek by focusing on exploration, scientific discovery, diplomacy, and the moral choices that arise when humanity ventures into the unknown.

Unlike many action-driven stories, Wayfinder is built around the idea that the greatest mysteries in the galaxy cannot always be solved with force. Each episode presents the crew with new civilizations, strange cosmic phenomena, ethical dilemmas, and scientific puzzles that challenge both their intellect and their character. While the series features suspense, adventure, and occasional danger, its heart remains rooted in optimism, curiosity, and hope for the future.

The USS Wayfinder itself is an experimental vessel equipped with groundbreaking technologies, including the Quantum Deflection Core and the AEGIS artificial intelligence system. These innovations allow the ship to explore regions of space previously considered inaccessible, while introducing new risks and unforeseen consequences. As the crew pushes farther into uncharted territory, they discover that the greatest mysteries may not lie beyond the stars—but within time itself.

Produced by fans, for fans, Star Trek: Wayfinder is a celebration of the values that have inspired generations of viewers for more than half a century. Whether you're a lifelong Star Trek enthusiast or discovering this universe for the first time, we invite you to join Captain Mercer and the crew of the USS Wayfinder as they boldly go where no one has gone before.
