OTR (Off-The- Road)

Underground Mining

• We supply small to medium size mining tires with sizes ranging from 8.25 - 15 to 17.5 - 25.

• All tires come with a manufacturing warranty and Star Tire Company will assist their customer with any tire sent for warranty.

• Monthly underground inspections and surveys are done by Star Tire Company.

Opencast Mining

• We supply medium to large size opencast mining tires with sizes ranging from 20.5 - 25 to 26.5 - 25.

• All tires come with a manufacturing warranty and Star Tire Company will assist their customer with any tire sent for warranty.

• Site inspections will be done prior to tires being mounted to ensure that the best and correct tire for the application is supplied.

• Monthly inspections and surveys are done by Star Tire Company.

Tire Fill
Star Tire Company supply two different kinds of fill namely:

1. Virgin Fill

• Virgin fill is pure virgin material which have never before been used or recycled for any purpose - This is recommended for heavy loads.
  
  

2.Crumb Fill (Recycled Fill) 

• Crumb fill is a combination of virgin compounds and recycled fill, this is more environmentally friendly - This is recommended for smaller loads.

Steel Wheels and Special Rims

• Star Tire Company supply new steel wheels and also do repairs on used wheels and components.

• We also specialize in the design and manufacturing of new and specialized rims and wheels for heavier loads and longer life span.
