Initial Preparations for Printer Wireless Setup of Canon Printer
Connecting a Canon printer to WiFi is the first step in finding the printer's Wifi button.
To check the buttons, refer to the manual of your printer.
Press and hold the Wifi button until you see the Wifi light start blinking blue.
Release the Wifi button as soon as the Wifi light flashes twice.
To continue the wireless configuration of your Canon printer, go to your access point and press the WPS button.
If you do, the printer will display a connection status to indicate that you are searching for a router. During the search, the Wifi lamp and the power lamp will blink.
When the printer detects the WPS router, the connection status will be displayed on the printer screen. The power supply and Wifi lamp also light up and stabilize.

If your router doesn't have a WPS button, you don't have to worry about your printer's network connection. There is another easy way to set up wireless settings for your Canon printer: the default settings. This is a commonly used method that most users use to establish a connection between a printer and a router.
After turning on the printer, touch the settings icon on the main screen.
Scroll through the list that appears and select a LAN configuration option.
Select the wireless LAN configuration option to install the printer on your wireless network. By doing so, you will be presented with various options for Wifi connection. Find and select the Default Settings option.
If the router is properly configured and powered on, the printer will display its name within minutes. When you select the network name, the password screen is displayed.
Passwords are case sensitive, so be careful when entering your password correctly. Press OK to successfully access the Canon Printer Wireless Setup.

You can easily connect a new, improved and modern printer to your computer without using a USB cable. Windows- Canon Wireless Printer Setup
Access the Control Panel application and launch Canon Printer Wireless Setup on Windows. You can easily find it in the start menu.
Then select View Devices and Printers.
A new window will appear with the Add Printer option.
Just click on it and you'll see a list of printers, all connected to the same Wifi network as your computer.
Tap the printer you want to connect to and you will immediately see that the printer is connected.
Mac - Canon Wireless Printer Setup
Move the cursor to the Apple menu in the Canon Printer Wireless Setup on Mac. Select "System Preferences" from the menu that appears.
You will get countless options. Select Print & Scan. On the left side of the next window, you'll see a list of printers already installed on your Mac.
Below this list are the plus signs that you need to click to find your printer. Eventually, the name of the printer will be displayed on your computer screen, select it. You can now start printing from your Mac.
