Starry Meadows Arabians

Enter as Strangers, Leave as Friends..........

Starry Meadows was established in 2000 and sits on 80 acres of land.   We strive to share our passion for horses and the beauty of the ranch.   Our trainers have combined experience of 50 years.  With over 24 acres of pasture, surrounded by white fencing, a pond, and 40 acres of wooded trails the experience is rich.  The experience is customized.  The experience is unforgettable!

"Starry Meadows has been an answer to prayer for our family!  Jeff and Tricia are so warm and welcoming, and my daughter's confidence and maturity has really blossomed due to the lessons she's learning here.  In horses and in life.  I highly recommend Jeff and his team, who are wonderful and very encouraging, knowledgeable instructors."

"After checking out several places to horseback ride in our area, we chose Starry Meadows. Starry Meadows instantly felt like home and the owners and trainers have exceeded our expectations. Jeff and Tricia keep a well-maintained facility that is safe and fun for riders of all ages. The atmosphere almost feels magical and provides a therapeutic experience to anyone that comes out. I love watching my daughter during lessons as I can see she is gaining confidence and skills while doing something she loves. My husband and I both love giving the horses head scratches and loving on the barn cats and dogs. We are looking forward to many more lessons at Starry Meadows, where the Dudleys treat you like family."

"We absolutely love Starry Meadows! The team has been amazing at creating an experience that fits our family's mixed riding goals. Our first and main goal was to expose our young daughter to horses at her own pace to reduce any fear she might have around such large animals.  Our instructor, Kait, is great with teaching and engaging our daughter as she is learning the ropes of horsemanship. I personally have enjoyed getting back in the saddle and having a wonderful horse that allows me to work on my own personal goals. The team at Starry Meadows has been so accomodating that we were able to have a "Mother Daughter" riding day; the young girls all had a safe riding experience and us Moms then got to jump on and ride!  They also have well-groomed riding paths through their property for trail riding.  I can't say enough great things about Starry Meadows and can recommend them to any skill-level rider! "In the summer of 2022, we wanted our oldest son to learn how to ride horses but were nervous because he needed someone who could provide some accommodations while teaching him how to ride.  Jeff was perfect at simplifying directions, checking for understanding, encouraging him to be confident, and being patient as our son learned how to ride.  We are immensely grateful for his kindness and care for our family.  Tricia was always enthusiastic to see us while we visited their ranch.  She deeply cares about the visitors to her home and makes them feel so welcome.  She was so helpful when scheduling as well.  We HIGHLY recommend Starry Arabians to anyone who is looking for a great family to teach their child how to ride a horse.  Thanks Jeff and Tricia!!"

"You might be suprised, I don't ride horses. I love the beauty, power, and grace a horse possesses. I thoroughly enjoy watching horses interact with each other as a herd, and how they communicate with humans. I often describe this experience as sitting and watching a fish aquarium. You can stare at it endlessly and the feeling is amazingly calm and therapeutic. I am the one behind the scences helping to manage the schedule, social media, feedback and the paperwork. I look forward to meeting with you and helping to enrich your ranch expreince.

"My greatest desire is to share the ranch and my deep love and respect for horses with you.  I was first introduced to horses as a young boy and they have captured my heart since then.  I have owned horses for 30 plus years and ridden over a thousand miles on a horse.  My specialty is horse care and ownership, trail riding, and horse behavior.  If your goal is to someday own or lease a horse then I can help you experience it".

"Loving horses has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I always chose to play with toy horses instead of dolls. Growing up, my excitement to be an equestrian only increased. Over the past four years, I have had the privilege of learning under skilled instructors while increasing my knowledge in riding. I am eager to share my passion with others who hold that same excitement.”

"Since the time I was a little girl and experienced the relationship between a rider and a horse I was hooked. I rode from the time I was 6 till about 8. It didn’t matter if I was actively riding or not I was always so intrigued by their beauty and missed the sport. In 2021, I got back into riding and my love for the sport continues to grow! The experiences that I have had at Starry Meadows have been wonderful, from their gorgeous facility to hands on care! I hope to help many others experience it as well"!

"For as long as I can remember, I loved horses. I started riding at a young age, there weren't many horse farms around where I grew up.  Whenever we traveled, I always made sure to ask if I could find a place to go on a trail ride. Eventually we found a horse farm near us and I started taking lessons, but COVID hit and I had to stop riding. We moved to the country the next year and my mom and I started searching for farms. We found Starry Meadows. It has been such a blessing from God and answer to prayer that I am able to ride and learn at Starry Meadows!  I've always wanted to work with horses, and thanks to God and Jeff and Tricia, I'm able to live my lifelong dream".

"As a young girl I always dreamed of having horses.  I was very lucky to have friends that had horses and rode with them.  In my teenage years I would help care for horses so I could ride.  After college, I started my first job in TX and my dream came true.  I bought a Palomino Quarter horse “Star”. My love for horses continues every day".

"Every Christmas growing up, for as long as I can remember, I asked my parents for a horse. In fact, every Christmas that comes around, I am now asking my husband for a horse. I rode horses from the age 11 until I was 16. At that point I had made a decision; a decision that I thought I had all of the control over. I went away to school, worked on buidling a career and grew my family. I put horses in the past. One day, a couple years ago I was stopped in my tracks. God was speaking to me and I had been ignoring it. I had a sense of incompleteness, a sense of running away, a sense of avoidance. I knew that, for whatever reason, I had to face that feeling and run toward the very thing I had been running away from for so many years.

Fear is like anxiety. Anxiety grows bigger and scarier and becomes harder to manage, the more you try to push it away, the more you try to pretend it's not there. Well, fear is the same. Fear grows every time we avoid it, every time we run from it,  we pretend it isn't there. Allow yourself to confront your fear, allow yourself to connect with another living creature in an unconditional way; because when you tell yourself that you can't conquer something, horses present the truth".
