"The court has decided to keep Jah Cure in custody," Tuscha Essed, press officer at the prosecutor's office of the Dutch Court of Appeal, told Starking Entertainment Tv.
"Tuesday's proceedings were another pro forma court date, where the judge alone decides whether the incarceration will continue. The next pro forma date is scheduled for November 1.
The law requires that every 90 days the court decides whether the suspect should be detained for another 90 days.
In March 2022, Jah Cure, 43, real name Siccature Alcock, was acquitted of an attempted murder charge, but convicted of the lesser offense of attempted manslaughter on March 22 in connection with the stabbing of a promoter for unpaid money in October 2021 He was sentenced to six years in prison in the Netherlands.
Following the conviction, Dutch prosecutors appealed in court against the acquittal on the attempted murder charge.
Jah Cure is known for his hit songs Longing For (2005) and Love Is (2005), which he admitted were illegally recorded while serving eight years in prison in Jamaica for rape, and True Reflection (Behind These Prison Walls) (2007). ), who was sanctioned under the prison's "rehabilitation through music" program.

Bounty Killer highlighted Donaldson's case in his recent collaboration with Cham, titled BLOOD CLXXT, which was released on August 5 and produced by Dave Kelly of Madhouse Records.
