"We" refers to the staff, developers, and managers of the discord application known as 'Starflight'. "Bot" or "the bot" refers to the discord bot Starflight#8533.
To opt out of having the bot read your messages, run the slash command /donotreadmymessages and you can revert it back by running the same command. The full privacy policy is below - we do not store user data with the exception of explicit bot interactions necessitating data storage, and even so, we try to store as little data as possible for the bot to function.
The bot does not store, log, or view any discord user data or messages with the exception of the following:
Slash commands ran by users to interact with the bot.
Messages beginning with "plant." or "sf." which are deemed interactions with the bot. If the command following "plant." or "sf." is not a valid or existing command in the bot, the message will be ignored.
Messages sent by a user while that user is running interactive bot commands.
However, users are permitted to interact with the bot via reactions or help commands that do not require user play/information. These interactions are not logged or stored by the bot. Any other messages sent by discord users are not stored, logged, or made available to anyone.
Even if an 'account' is made for any given user, data is not collected until that user specifically interacts with the bot. This only applies to bot interactions relevant to the bot's features necessitating specifics for the given user. You are permitted to contact a bot moderator in the support server to request your specific user data removed. User accounts are not made randomly or for any reason except for when a user makes a direct interaction with the bot.
We reserve the right to prevent you from using the bot at our discretion. The bot will not attempt to grief, damage, or otherwise harm user experience or servers in any way. However, we are not responsible for users spamming or repeatedly triggering bot commands, and server owners should deal with these users at their discretion.
