The Ultimate Guide
Starbucks issued a total of 88 black / navy blue and white Relief series of city mugs, during 2010 - 2023. Navy blue was used for Chinese mugs except for Macau and Hong Kong, black in the rest of the world.
The first mug which surfaced was the New York City mug in 2010. It is the only mug in this series with the old Starbucks logo with the letters. The Madrid, Lisboa and Barcelona relief were the last mug of this series that was released, in autumn 2023. The last Xmas mug Australia was released in November 2019.
During the holiday season of 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 Starbucks issued special Xmas Relief mugs in red (2013 and 2014), gold (2014), green (2015 and 2016), silver (2016), red again and blue (2017), red (2018) and red en gold (2019).
The series developed further in the Philippines in 2020. Four mugs were released in different colors: red, light blue, light green and light brown.
Starbucks also released demitasse mugs only in Taiwan in 2013. One year later during the holiday season golden and red demitasse mugs were issued in Taiwan and Shanghai.
Also Relief tumblers (thermoplastic mugs) were released.
