FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS?

Q: How do I get a membership and how much does it cost?

A: To purchase a STARA membership visit www.OFTR.ca and choose STARA as your primary club. You can choose to support other OFTR clubs as well. Your membership will give you access to STARA properties as well as many other club trails in Southern Ontario.

The cost is $144.75 for adults and 30$ for children under the age of 16. Children memberships need to be affiliated with an ADULT membership. 

Q: Where are your properties located?

A: STARA has exclusive access to three private properties:

GOJOFARM is located in Chelmsford, ON

The DIRTYBIRCH is located in Val Caron, ON

Buster's Boulder Bash is located in Markstay, ON

STARA also has a partnership with the Capreol Ski Club in Capreol where we host club rides on their trails.

Q: When is the Capreol Ski Club open?

A: It is open 24/7 for our members !

Q: How many KM are your trails?

A: Every season we try and add to our trails, currently:

GOJOFarm: 20KM The Dirty Birch: 20KM Capreol Ski Club: 25KM

Q: Can I ride whenever I want?

A: STARA puts out a schedule of rides for the season. Additional rides may be added by the board throughout the season and will be posted on STARA's private Facebook group that members only have access. GOJOFarm property is also available to ride outside the schedule (see GOJOFarm for more details) Capreol Ski Club is open 24/7 for our members.

Q: Do you rent motorcycles or give lessons?

A: No, we do not rent motorcycles or give lessons. 

Q: How old do you have to be to join the club?

A: Any age(kids under 16 must be paired with an adult) ! We have riders of all ages and riding abilities. Our properties have something for every level of rider to enjoy.

Q: Do you allow ATV's/ QUADS or SXS?

A: No, we are strictly an off-road(green plate), dualsport(blue plate) and Adventure(blue plate) motorcycle club.

Q: Do you have MX track with jumps?

A: No, we have properties with singletrack of various difficulties, a dirt track and endurocross. We do not have Jumps.

Q: Do I need a license plate and Insurance?

A: Green plate for off-road, blue plate for dual sport or adventure. And your own insurance.

Q: Do you offer Day Passes to try it out?

A: Yes, 1 day $40 and 2 days $60.

Q: Do I need a blue plated bike and motorcycle licence?

A: You will need a blue plated bike, license, and insurance to attend the Dualsport rides on the schedule. (Ride the North & Wolf Mountain DS Ride) and a green plate and insurance for off-roading.

Q: Do you offer camping?

A: Yes, we offer camping at GOJOFarm, please contact president.stara@gmail.com for more information.

Q: I am an OFTR member can I come ride your properties?

A: Yes, if you are coming from out of town contact socialmedia.stara@gmail.com for more information on dates and times.

Q: If I have a membership can I bring my friend to try?
