Fourteen years after the fall of both the Galactic Republic and the Jedi Order and the rise of the Galactic Empire,[10] a motley group of rebels called the Spectres unite aboard a light freighter called the Ghost and begin to conduct covert operations against Imperial forces on and around the planet Lothal and on other planets that are menaced by the Empire.

In the Middle East and Africa, Spark of Rebellion premiered on October 11 and the series debuted on October 18 on Disney XD.[19] Siege of Lothal premiered on October 10, followed the official season premiere on October 17.[20] In Southeast Asia, Spark of Rebellion premiered on Disney XD on October 4 and the series officially started on November 29.[21][22] Siege of Lothal premiered on October 3 on Disney XD and Disney Channel, and the second season was released on October 24.[23][24][25][26] In the United Kingdom and Ireland, the series debuted on October 16 on Disney XD.[27] Siege of Lothal premiered on July 18, 2015,[28] followed by the second-season debut on October 17.[29]

Hera Syndulla would go on to appear in Alexander Freed's Star Wars: Alphabet Squadron novel trilogy, as a general of the recently christened New Republic's eponymous starfighter squadron in the final days of the Galactic Civil War, hunting down the weakened Imperial forces after the battle of Endor and the death of Emperor Palpatine.[citation needed]

The series follows a motley group of rebels who live aboard the starship Ghost as they fight the Galactic Empire. Lucasfilm first announced Star Wars Rebels on May 20, 2013, following the news that the animated television series Star Wars: The Clone Wars would be ending and that a new series would be produced. Star Wars Rebels was the first new major Star Wars project to be released following The Walt Disney Company's acquisition of Lucasfilm Ltd. in 2012. The series was created by Dave Filoni, Simon Kinberg, and Carrie Beck, and stars actors Taylor Gray, Freddie Prinze Jr., Vanessa Marshall, Tiya Sircar, Steve Blum, and Dave Filoni.

The series begins five years before Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, fourteen years into the reign of the Galactic Empire.[27][28] The general premise is described as follows:"It is a dark time in the galaxy, as the evil Galactic Empire tightens its grip of power from world to world. Star Wars Rebels focuses on six main characters,[2] who crew the starship Ghost. They include the teenage con-artist Ezra Bridger,[18] the former Jedi Kanan Jarrus,[19] the Ghost's pilot and owner, the Twi'lek Hera Syndulla,[20] the teenage Mandalorian explosives expert Sabine Wren,[21] the Lasat "muscle" Garazeb "Zeb" Orrelios,[22][30] and the astromech droid C1-10P or "Chopper."[31]

Kanan works hard to be a good mentor to Ezra, even as he battles demons from his past and other insecurities. Some character traits -- such as hot-headedness and carrying grudges -- work against the team mentality and cause some strife, but, when they work together, they're a powerful force for good. Villains often use tricks to lure the rebels into dangerous situations.

Parents need to know that Star Wars Rebels is an animated series that follows Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion. It continues the story of a team of renegade rebels on missions against an evil Empire and delves more deeply into the mentor/student relationship between Jedi master Kanan and his new apprentice, Ezra. Positive messages emerge in the Rebels' selfless efforts to undermine the Empire and in how Kanan and Ezra must compromise for both to be effective in their roles. Not surprisingly, there's a lot of peril and violence in this story, as characters on both sides use weapons (blasters, a laser slingshot, explosives, and lightsabers) and hand-to-hand skills against each other. There are deaths, although the show doesn't draw attention to them. This fun series has broad appeal for kids and adults, particularly those familiar with the Star Wars story laid out in the live-action movies.

Hello all! It's been a minute. I've been busy trooping trooping of course but have also gotten bit by the 3D printing bug. Printers are so inexpensive right now that I finally pulled the trigger late last year. After printing a bunch of "smaller" Star Warsy stuff I decided to jump in and build the droid I have been looking for. I've been wanting to add a "life size" working droid to my rotation and with the help of Thingiverse, astromech.net and a couple of facebook groups. I started this build late November 2019.

What do I print next, Chopper has what they call a skirt. In the show it's where his 3rd wheel or rocket booster comes out of. Do I print that or do I start on the dome. The legs scare the poop out of me so I may just leave those last!

I going for the dome! I order PLA+ in orange. My OCD/ADD/XYZ will not allow me to print this any other color. I understand it will be painted with gray primer but I am gonna be staring at this thing for month before then. I need to see his head in the color it was went to be.

I will be cutting a styrene top for the dome. I have a periscope and side doors to print to be fully complete with this dome but not needed at the moment to get this guy going. I'm off to start printing the skins for this dude.

She refused to leave her former master a second time, and remained in the Sith temple with him as it was starting to collapse. They continued their duel, until Ahsoka destroyed the temple's floor to save Vader from its destruction. Before Vader finish her off, she was saved by a time-traveling Ezra from two years later, who used the World Between Worlds. In the place between time and space, she discovered Kanan had recently died and helped Ezra come to terms with his passing. Attracting the attention of Emperor Sheev Palpatine, Ahsoka prevented him from capturing Ezra to gain access, and returned to Malachor, promising to find Ezra. When Ezra disappeared with Grand Admiral Thrawn during the Liberation of Lothal, Ahsoka set out to find him with Sabine Wren after the Empire was defeated.

Sometime later, the rebels rescued Tseebo, a Rodian in the Imperial Information Office whose AJ^6 Cyborg Construct headpiece contained vital Imperial information, including a five-year plan for the entire Outer Rim.[3] After fleeing Lothal, the Ghost rendezvoused with Ahsoka's Alderaan Cruiser. Hera turned Tseebo over to Ahsoka, who would be able to analyze the information contained within Tseebo's headpiece.[4]

After the Ghost crew joined Phoenix Squadron, Ahsoka acted as a mentor and adviser to the newer rebels. She had a particular affinity with Kanan and his apprentice Ezra. During the Siege of Lothal, Ahsoka along with Hera, Kanan and the Phoenix Commander Jun Sato sanctioned a mission to rescue Minister Maketh Tua, who wanted to defect from the Empire. The Ghost crew returned to Lothal but stumbled into a trap set by Ahsoka's former master and friend, Darth Vader.

After escaping Vader, Ahsoka questioned Kanan and Ezra about their earlier confrontation with Vader on Lothal. Kanan recalled that he had not sensed a presence as evil as Vader since the Clone Wars. When Ezra asked Ahsoka about the identity of the Sith Lord, Ahsoka feigned ignorance of his identity. However, she told them that she knew that Vader would be coming for the rebels again in an effort to destroy them. Whether they chose to fight Vader and the others who would try to destroy them, the Ghost crew told her that they would fight them together.[8]

Following the destruction of Phoenix Home, Phoenix Squadron were on the run. When the rebels discussed their next move, Ahsoka suggested that the Ghost crew seek out an old friend: the former Clone Captain Rex. For their mission, she gave Sabine and the Ghost crew the head of an old Tactical Droid and sent them to the desert planet of Seelos. Ahsoka unfortunately wouldn't be joining them as she had to depart "to answer questions that need answering" involving Vader. Prior to departing, she told Kanan to trust her friend.[9] ff782bc1db
