A black bear sow and her cub have been located out front of the Lakewood Manor, located at 222 5th Street NE, Staples, MN 56479.
If you are able, please place any garbage cans you have inside, removing any feeders to reduce the chance of damage, close windows, and lock doors.
Please do not harass the bear or drive past the area so it can continue its journey outside of town.
