Stan Torain is a son, husband, father, minister, singer, songwriter, band director and worship leader. He is many other things but most importantly he is a Son of God. A native of Huntsville, Alabama, Stan Torain's parents  (Stan Torain Sr. and Doris Torain) made sure that he was active in church. According to Stan's father he wrote his first song at 8 years of age. Then at the age of 12, Stan sang his first song at New Jerusalem M.B. Church entitled "Ain't That Good News". 

Stan has been a part of many different musical groups instrumental, vocal, and both. Stan was also a member of Jamel Strong and Message. Also, He has his own worship group called Stan Torain and Continual Praise. Currently, Stan is a member of the Fountain of Life where he serves as Music Minister, he is the Huntsville District COGIC Worship Leader, and he is the Worship Leader for Progressive Union MBC. Last but not least, He is a husband to his beautiful wife of 19 years, Kitrise Torain and together they have two twin boys, Allen and Aiden.
