The church is located near Mannuthy Junction on the sides of NH-47. The church is around 5 Km Distant from Thrissur Railway Station. It is located in the eastern side of Thrissur Corporation.

In year 1931, a Chapel in the name of Holy Mary, was built, and in year 1959 the chapel was upgraded as St. Antony's Church.In year 1999, 34 families of northern end of the church became part of St. Mary's Church, Chirakkakode. Year 2007, 347 Parish families of Eastern end of Mannuthy Church were premitted to pray, adore and attend sacraments at Mullakkara Infant Jesus Church.
