SUMMER SEMINARY: Each Wednesday in July, 11:00am–12:00pm @ Seminary.
Students must attend at least 75% of classes to receive credit towards seminary graduation each semester. Because seminary has no homework or other assignments, the only "work" of seminary is attendance. As a result, students with less than 75% attendance will need to complete make-up work even if those absences are excused by the school or by a parent.
Parents can check their student's attendance and excuse absences at any time at myseminary.churchofjesuschrist.org.
To receive credit each semester, students need to complete the required readings for that semester. Starting with the most recent, the last four years of required readings are:
Spring 2026: Old Testament 1: Moses, chapters 1–5; Abraham, chapters 1–3; Genesis, chapters 37, 39, and 41

The purpose of seminary make-up work is to provide you some of the spiritual growth and knowledge that was missed during extended absences in seminary. Your life will be blessed to the degree you use this as an opportunity to draw closer to your Savior and Heavenly Father.
NOTE: The intent is to help you grow in new ways and do new things. Talks you would have already given, lessons you would have already taught, or other activities you have already done will not count as make-up work.

A 30–60 minute family study lesson (once a week) counts for two days made up. Five family scripture studies in a week counts as two days made up.
