FAQ
How do I join the league?
If you would like to join, send an email to stanislauspinball@gmail.com, with your name, an email address. You will be contacted when sign ups start for next season.
If the league has already started, can I still join?
Yes, you might be able to join if all leagues aren't full. Send us and email to stanislauspinball@gmail.com
When does the league meet?
Currently, league play is every Tuesday and Thursday's at MOAB and Wednesdays at Contentment Brewing and Saturdays at Rivets American Grill. Click on the "Schedule" link to view current venues and schedules.
Do I need to attend every league night?
Yes and No. Your lowest week score will be dropped in calculating your final playoffs ranking, so there is no penalty for missing a week. If you miss a certain number of weeks you will be disqualified from the end of season playoffs. You are allowed to make-up games that you missed. Each league has rules for the number of missed weeks allowed and when make-up games are allowed. See "Rules" section.
How long is each season?
Typically about 4 months. Each season is at least 8 weeks long, with a tournament the last day of the season. See "Calendar" for each leagues start and end dates.
Ho much does it cost?
The league fee is $20/season. Each night of League play also requires coin-drop to play (~$3 for 4 games).
Is there an age requirement to join the league?
No, our locations are all ages. All minors will need to be accompanied by an adult. See "Rules" for more clarifications on age requirements. We want to be welcoming to all age and skill levels.
How does the scoring work?
Points are awarded each league night by comparing your score on a particular game against all other players. Players are awarded a point for each player’s score they beat.
For example, suppose there are 20 players at a league night and one of the games everyone played is Iron Man. The player with the highest score on Iron Man, will be awarded 20 points for that game (1 point per player).
End of season playoffs scoring format is typically Strikes Elimination. See "Rules" for more info.
I suck at pinball, should I play?
Do you have fun playing pinball or want to improve? Then yes, we believe you will do both in this league. Plus, someday you’ll be a world ranked pinball player traveling the world with your Wizard flipper skills!
Are there prizes or awards?
Yes, currently trophies and other various prizes are handed out for various accomplishments during league. Tournaments often have cash prizes along with trophies.
