This page is used to inform visitors and users regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information.
If you choose to use our application “STAND PROUD”, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that our application collects is used for providing our services and improving our application. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.
Our Service processes your personal data in compliance with European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and any other applicable privacy and personal data laws.
When you first download our application to use our services you will be presented with the option to do a “Custom Sign-up” or the option to “Sign-up with Google”, or the option “Sign-up with Apple” (in case you have an iOS device). During this stage you will be asked to provide your Name and your email. General locale (preferred language and region settings of your device) is also provided by your device’s settings and used for Firebase analytics. If you opt for the second option “Sign-up with Google” then the following data will be provided by your google account: Email, Name, Locale preferred language and region settings of your device), Given Name, Family Name, Google profile picture. iOS users may authenticate with Apple ID using “Sign in with Apple”. We receive a normal or relay email address and a unique Apple-provided identifier. With all types of sign-up, the user automatically accepts the Terms and Conditions and this Privacy Policy.
If you use “Custom Sign-up”, you are required to confirm your email address by following the instructions sent to the email you provide. This confirmation process is crucial for establishing a reliable line of communication, ensuring that you are informed about updates to our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, app enhancements, announcements, and any changes in user data handling by our company. Failure to confirm your email address, or providing an incorrect or non-functional email, means that you may not receive these important notifications. Please ensure the accuracy and validity of your email address. STAND PROUD cannot be held responsible for the failure to receive updates and communications due to unconfirmed or inaccurate email addresses provided by the user.
After you sign-up, our app will take you to the “Onboarding” stage where you will be asked to provide the following data: Gender, Height, Weight, Birthday, Workout Experience, Preferred Workout Plan Duration, Workouts Per Week Goal, Postural Assessment (you will be asked to choose a picture of the posture problem you wish to alleviate with the use of our application) and Pain Assessment (you will be asked to pinpoint the region of the back where the pain occurs and its intensity).
This kind of data is health data, and is a special category of data under the GDPR [Article 9 (2) (a) GDPR].
After Onboarding you will also be asked to select your preferences about workout frequency, workout equipment, level of workout difficulty (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced) and time span of the workout plan (6 weeks, 12 weeks).
As you use the services our application provides, we track when you performed those activities and specifically which days you performed each workout, date, time and name of which workout plan you performed each time, your progression and time for each completion and estimated calories burned.

Data collection and processing is required for the creation of user accounts which are mandatory for using “STAND PROUD” (free or premium)
b) Communication:
We may use your contact information to communicate with you about our services, updates, promotions, and important notices.
We may also respond to inquiries, requests, and feedback provided by you.
c) Improving User Experience:
We may analyze user data and feedback to improve our application, develop new features, and enhance the overall user experience.
Aggregated and anonymized data may be used for statistical analysis, research, and marketing purposes.
“STAND PROUD” processes your personal data, with your consent, according to Articles 6 (1) (a) (b) GDPR (account creation, usage of our application services, support - communication) and we process your health data on the basis of Article 9 (2) (a) GDPR. We also process your personal to fulfill our legitimate interests (improving our services, etc.) according to Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
We do not collect information from children under the age of 16 without the prior consent of their parents or legal guardians. Please also refer the Terms and Conditions.
Your personal data will not be distributed, communicated, exchanged or transferred to third parties, on any medium whatsoever.
We may be compelled by the law to disclose your personal data to some authorities or other third parties, such as the law enforcement or legal authorities. In this case, we challenge such requests for disclosure and only provide the minimum amount of information permissible when responding to a request for disclosure.
We take the responsibility of protecting your personal data with the utmost seriousness. For that reason, we have taken all the reasonable measures to protect the security of your personal information in a way that doesn’t impact user experience. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure and thus we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.
If our company is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, your personal data may be transferred and become subject to a different Privacy Policy. In this event you will be notified immediately.

In order for your ease of use of “STAND PROUD” we store your data until you request its deletion. Proceeding to account deletion will also result in the deletion of your data. [Article (1) (e) GDPR]
If you wish to delete your data and your account, you can find this option in the application’s settings or you can contact us directly via email at support@standproud.app. For iOS users that have bought a subscription, deleting your account does not mean cancelling your subscription. The subscription cancellation must be done manually in the user’s device settings.
In the event of a deletion request, all your data will be permanently deleted within 3 months of your request.
We reserve the right to update, modify, or amend our Privacy Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes to the Privacy Policy will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or within the mobile application. By continuing to use our services after any modifications to the Privacy Policy, you acknowledge and agree to abide by the revised terms. If you do not agree with the updated Privacy Policy, you must immediately cease using our services and may request deletion of your account and associated data as outlined in this Privacy Policy.
