We do not operate on a "first come, first served" basis as we carefully curate each market for variety and quality. Completing an application does not guarantee you a spot. This applies to everyone, no exceptions.
We rotate traders, so if you have been fortunate enough to have a stall for a few markets in a row then you may not get picked for the next one. This is to keep the markets fresh and to ensure we give new traders a chance.. If you don't get a stall please keep applying!
New traders - please give us a good idea of what you will be selling and include quality pictures of your items to give us a feel of what you do.
All applicants will be notified by email after the application window closes. Anyone not allocated a stall initially will be placed on the waiting list in case a space becomes available. Sellers cannot be added to the wait list if an application was not submitted in time.
We take payment up front, so you will need to pay for your stall space very soon after applications close. When your stall has been accepted, we'll email you an invoice which you then pay via direct bank transfer or PayPal Friends and Family. This secures your space. We do not offer a refund on your stall fee for any reason and the stall fee cannot be transferred to another event. We don't take payment in any other form besides bank transfer and PayPal.
Sellers are only allowed to sell items that fit with our style - rock, metal, goth, punk, fantasy, steampunk, geeky, or just plain weird! Again, we do not allow wholesale, mass produced items, or any AI art. Good quality second-hand items are allowed and encouraged! But for hygiene reasons the sale of second-hand items of underwear, makeup, and earrings or other piercing jewellery is not permitted.
The sale of alcohol is not permitted, nor anything else that requires a licence. Any electronic goods for sale must have an in-date PAT test label.
Traders are welcome to use app-based bank transfers/PayPal/portable card readers etc at the discretion and risk of you and your buyer. If you want to bring a card payment device, we would recommend you bring your own wi-fi hotspot if you need wi-fi to use it. We cannot provide any facilities for taking card payments. If you are accepting cash please bring plenty of change as you will not be able to get change at any of our venues.
Stall holders will not be able to start packing down or loading out before close time unless explicitly told by market staff only. Loading out early poses a significant health and safety risk to our customers and the venue staff, and we do not want to put them, or anyone else, at risk.
