How to Install

Manual Download and Installation:

Update 1.5.1 is FULL REPACK and STAND-ALONE. Don't attempt installing it on older version or other stalker games, just unpack it on an empty folder and play.

Installation steps:

1. Create a folder for Anomaly, for example C:\Game\Anomaly

2. Download and unpack the repack in the folder you made:

2.5. Anomaly 1.5.1 is also available as a torrent download, use this magnet link if you prefer this.

    3. Check here if any hotfixes exist for the latest update:

There are currently no hotfixes for version 1.5.1

4. An update to Anomaly 1.5.2 with some bug fixes and improvements can be found here

   5. Start the launcher and select the renderer you want to play with, toggle AVX if you have a powerful CPU

    6. Start the game and enjoy!

Automatic Download and Installation (Recommended):

Installation steps:

1. Open the file named "S.T.A.L.K.E.R Anomaly Installer"

2. Press "yes"

3. Then follow the setup guide.

4. Open This PC>Local Disk(C:)>Program Files(x86)

5. Find S.T.A.L.K.E.R Anomaly

6. Make a new folder in Local Disk(C:) Called Anomaly.

7. Drag the S.T.A.L.K.E.R Anomaly folder into the new folder named Anomaly. 

How to add S.T.A.L.K.E.R Anomaly to Steam

• Launch the Steam application on your computer and log in to your Steam account.

• Click on the "Games" tab located at the top-left corner of the Steam window, and from the dropdown menu, select "Add a Non-Steam Game to My Library." This option allows you to add non-Steam games and mods to your library.

• A window titled "Add a Game" will appear, displaying a list of programs installed on your computer.

• If S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly is listed, check the box next to its name. If it's not listed, click on the "Browse" button to manually locate the Anomaly executable file (.exe) on your computer. The executable file is usually located in the game's installation folder.

• After selecting S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly, click on the "Add Selected Programs" button. This will add the mod to your Steam library.

• The mod will now appear in your Steam library under the "Games" tab. You can organize and categorize it by creating custom categories or adding it to existing ones. Right-click on the mod's name and select "Set Categories" to manage its placement in your library.

• To launch S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly, simply double-click on its name in your Steam library. Steam will start the mod, and you can begin playing as you would with any other game in your library.

• Note: Adding S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly to your Steam library allows you to access Steam features such as the Steam Overlay and Steam Controller support. However, keep in mind that Anomaly is a mod and not an official Steam game, so certain features may not be available or fully supported.

• Remember to manage and update S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly independently, as mods typically have their own update mechanisms separate from Steam.
