STAIR WORKSHOP

Currently, the STAIR workshop is affiliated with the Sam Nunn School of International Affairs, Georgia Institute of Technology.

Introduction

The STAIR Workshop (Science, Technology And International Relations), a unique platform driven by the recognition of the intricate relationship between science, technology, and international affairs, aims to bridge the gap between the worlds of science, technology, and international relations. Our mission is to facilitate a holistic understanding of the multifaceted impact of technologies within both the field of political science and the wider policy-making communities. By fostering an inclusive environment, we seek to illuminate the complex interplay between technological advancements and the realm of international relations.

Our thematic scope encompasses a diverse range of subjects, with a special focus on emerging technologies such as AI, Biology, Cybersecurity, Digital Innovation, and ICT. However, our interests extend far beyond these categories, reflecting the dynamic and ever-evolving nature of the fields we explore.

Furthermore, the STAIR Workshop envisions it as a stepping stone, or rather a "stair," for researchers with projects aligned with our objectives. By participating in this workshop, we offer a platform for researchers to elevate their work and gain valuable insights from the community.
