What is maple cream and how is it made?
Maple cream is a butter-like spreadable product. You can use it on toast, bagels, etc. It is made by quickly chilling maple syrup heated to 235° back down to 100° or less. A commercial stand mixer then whips the viscous syrup until it is the delicious maple cream!
DISCLAIMER: Our maple cream is stored frozen to preserve its shelf life before use, so that is how we photographed it. It should also be refrigerated after opening!
