Love this print. I have a great fall chalkboard I just finished and would love your input and or opinion on the finished product. What I would like to know, is where did you get the stag cut-out to trace?

Wendy

I knew that this pattern would look fantastic in the contrasting reds and blacks for a more masculine look. But I also know that this easy corner to corner afghan would look just as stunning in more neutral beiges and browns or even grey and pink for a really feminine version!

This is an easy corner to corner crochet pattern. You can use double crochets (treble crochets in UK terms) or half double crochets (half treble crochets in UK terms) to create your afghan. Half double crochets will produce a slightly smaller project that double crochets but both look stunning!

I have a free learn to corner to corner course . It has helped a lot of crocheters to master corner to corner. Together we look at reading the patterns, as well as how to do the stitch, increases and decreases and colour changes. I will show you how to work both squares and rectangles too. We also make a couple of free pattern projects together!

I used Paintbox Simply Aran for both versions of my afghans. This is a thicker #4 weight yarn so it makes a fabulously snuggly, tactile blanket! It is also lovely to work with and there are so many colours available (over 60!) in this collection. As it is 100% acrylic it is easy to wash and dry on low temperatures so you can throw it in the washing machine and not worry about it!

Red deer have been widely introduced all over the place. Best-known introductions are Argentina and New Zealand, but there are also free-range populations in Australia and Chile. Red deer are relative common on hunting ranches in Texas, and there have been other introductions in North America.

So, if you want to hunt red stag, almost the entire world is your oyster. That makes it complicated! Probably best start with some basic questions. Is it important to hunt native range? How about free range? Want a big stag, or a good hunt for a nice stag? What about timing? Personally, I hate reality, but budget must always be part of the discussion.

The biggest European stags are probably in Eastern Europe. Bulgaria, Romania, and Hungary are especially famous for big stags. Spain has excellent red deer hunting, but the Spanish subspecies is smaller. Scotland also has fantastic stag hunting, but Scottish stags are also smaller.

With elk, catching the bugling is a matter of seasonality; in some states, only the bowhunters get a crack at it, and they are richer for the experience. With red deer, because of limited pressure and, often, privatization of wildlife, if you plan properly, you can catch the roar.

Living art is a beautiful and fresh way to incorporate a statement piece into your home. As such, I pulled together an Easy Staghorn fern mounting guide so you canyon can take smaller plants, a unique fern, and even tropical plants to your interior space bringing extra impact into your decorating.

For staghorn fern mounting boards, you want something at least twice the size of your fern base but ideally much larger. This is because staghorn ferns are slow-growing, but when they do grow, they can get large. Therefore, choosing a large mounting board will let you keep your fern mounted for much longer, rather than having to transplant it to a bigger board down the road.

Staghorn fern mounting boards are often made out of a piece of wood or wood planks. This can be as simple as an old fruit cart or a beautiful piece of reclaimed wood. A great large staghorn fern mounting idea uses an old, refinished headboard. This makes a great conversation piece, and you can be sure no one else will have one like it.

At the opposite nail, wind the line around once or twice to secure it. String the fishing line back and forth in a criss-cross pattern, securing at each nail. Once everything is lashed down, tie off the line and trim excess.

While this might all feel somewhat precarious, the fishing line is a temporary measure until the fern attaches to the surface. The fishing line will be swallowed by foliage before long, creating the perfect camouflage for your staghorn fern mounting.

The moss on the outside might be dry while the interior is wet, so some staghorn fern care experts even suggest waiting to see the plant begin to wilt before you water again. Keep it damper in the summer months and less in the cooler months that replicate humid conditions. Yo

If you have a mister and love loving on your plants, staghorn ferns love a good daily misting. Every other month you can fertilize with topical plant food to give your staghorn fern mounting an extra kick.

The heading might be corny, but staghorn ferns are a great accent piece. Not only will they never go out of style (a plant can die, but it can never go out of style), but they also add a touch of DIY fun and fresh nature to your home.

The Great Eastern Cutlery Northfield #62 Easy Pocket Congress is a traditional Congress style pocket knife which has been around for some time as its original purpose was to make quill pens. The GEC Northfield #62 Easy Pocket Congress is a smaller-sized pocket knife featuring two 1095 carbon steel blades making it very useful for a variety of every day tasks. The slim design allows it to ride very easy in your pocket. It makes a great general purpose, gentleman's fine pocket knife. Made with pride in Titusville, PA. We are an authorized Great Eastern Cutlery Dealer and purchased this new knife direct from them.

The #62 Easy Pocket Congress features a Wharncliffe main blade and a pen secondary blade. The Wharncliffe blade has a cutting edge of 2.1875" and a nail nick for opening. The pen blade has cutting edge of 1.9375" and a nail nick for opening. Both blades have a half stop and a polished finish. The "NORTHFIELD UN-X-LD" logo is etched on the blade.

The handle is long enough for a solid four finger hold for most people. The handle scales are Sambar Stag and the attaching pins and liners are brass. The two groove bolsters are polished nickel silver giving the knife a classy look. There is a finger cut-out on the pen blade side giving access to the pen blade nail nick. The curve of the handle profile allows the knife to work well in the hand regardless of the knife position. The handle scale edges are rounded and flush with the outside perimeter making the knife pleasant to hold. The fit and finish are excellent and the blade action is crisp when opening and closing.

The more I practiced by the wall the more I taught myself to become dependent on it. Instead of learning how to bail out of a handstand I was teaching myself that there would always be a wall behind me I could tap my feet on, in case I moved a little too far toward my back side.

This is where bail out methods come in. Bailing out of a handstand means to be able to control your exit out of a handstand when you feel the weight moving too far in one direction to be able to stay balanced.

First let the spotter pull you a tiny bit too far to your backside and then have them twist your hips out to one side and land your feet onto the ground. When that feels safe the spotter can start to pull you a little further off balance before they guide your hips to twist out.

The ebook includes 17 exercises that build strength and flexibility in your wrists and forearms, two exercise program templates, and a printable wrist exercise sheet, along with tips on how to position your hands and distribute weight in your palms for optimal comfort and balance.

How to do a straight line handstand:

Push into the entire palm of your hands especially the back of your index finger knuckles and your fingertips. Keep your elbows straight and elevate your shoulder blades so that your shoulder is moving towards your ears. Squeeze the arms toward each other to active along the insides of your arms.

How to do a split handstand:

The upper body is doing exactly the same as in a straight line handstand. Split your legs and send one leg back behind you and one leg out in front. To have your legs parallel to the ground in full splits requires that you untuck your pelvis slightly and allow a slight arch of your back. The knees can be straight or bent into a stag. 152ee80cbc
