Each year, Stafford Middle School's incoming 6th graders are welcomed to a one-day orientation program that takes place at their new campus home, STMS. This year, we wanted to make an intentional shift of what this day and time looks like.  We know that moving into middle school can be a little nerve-wracking for students and families.  We want to remedy that by ensuring you know that Stafford has your back.  In the military, the term "I got your six" signifies loyalty, cooperation, and a willingness to support each other.  This is at the heart of everything we do.  So, whether you're coming from Boals, Phillips, or Robertson - you're now apart of the Stafford family.  So, welcome HOME...we got your 6!

At We Got Your 6, 6th graders are given opportunities to learn Spartan traditions, make new friends and learn more about life at the middle school. The camp is led entirely by STMS students and staff.  During We Got Your 6, the 6th graders are split into “family” houses of students and a small group of current students and staff members. Each of these houses will participate in activities and breakout sessions  that will include going over campus expectations, traditions and other important information about their first year of middle school. In addition to meeting new friends and forming valuable connections, these breakout sessions will provide 6th graders with opportunities to ask any questions they may have about life at Stafford Middle School!
