The Rowser building is small, but another great historic building in Stafford County. It was built by back in 1939 by Stafford Public Works Administration as high school designated for African American students only. This was literally the only location Black students could receive an education after the 7th grade. This building was recently added to the National Register of Historic Places and, as a Virginia Landmark.
It is a great place to take your family, admission is free and they are generally open from 8:00 am to 4:30 PM Monday thru Friday.
