About Me

Hello, everyone. My name is Emma Stafford. I am a first year student at University of Cincinnati studying Health Sciences on a pre-med track and pursuing a sport coaching certificate. In the future, I hope to be a pediatric orthopedic sports medicine surgeon, as I love to work with athletes, and I have first-hand experience with the profound impact sports medicine physicians can have on athletes.

Through my time in University Honors Program, I plan to explore research opportunities that combine my passion for medicine and learning. I also hope to meet fellow UC students with various passions, backgrounds, and interests through the seminars and study tours offered.

Outside of school, I enjoy working out, playing with my dogs, reading, and spending quality time with my friends and family. I would consider my ability to work with others and be a strong leader as my greatest strengths. Through my various leadership positions throughout high school, I learned to listen to everyone's perspective to foster an inclusive atmosphere and create a solution that satisfies the majority.
